Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge

Ingredients

5 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 lg. can Carnation milk
1 (18 oz. size) jar marshmallow cream
3 sm pkgs. Nestle's chocolate bits
1 pound chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Bring sugar, salt and milk to a boil, and boil for 5 minutes (or to a good soft ball when tested in cold water). Put marshmallow cream, chocolate bits, nuts and vanilla in large bowl and pour hot liquid over it.

Stir only until chocolate is dissolved. Pour into large flat pan, let cool and cut in squares. This makes five pounds.
