Lightly grease 9" x 13" ovenproof glass baking dish. Arrange bread cubes evenly in bottom of prepared dish. Brown sausage, in heavy, large skillet, over medium-high heat, stirring frequently and breaking up with spoon, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle sausage over bread, using slotted spoon. Pour eggs over sausage. Top with cheese and then chives. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
