A parking attendant in New York City had a frightening encounter with two armed thugs but fought them off, thanks in part to the apple he happened to be eating at the time. The terrifying incident occurred in the Bronx around 5:30 p.m. Two attackers demanded cash and one of them brandished a large butcher's knife. The attendant refused and was stabbed once in the torso.
Somehow, he threw his apple at the assailant and pushed them out the door. He was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries.
