A new application for iPhone and Blackberry lets you scan a label bar code in a wine shop to find tasting notes and information about the wine. Natalie MacLean, a wine writer and certified sommelier, developed the app to make wine buying easier. The free app has a daunting 150,000 wines in its database, food pairing ideas, and an area to keep track of your purchases. Available in the iTunes App Store and Blackberry App World.
