Coffee consumption in men has been linked to a reduced risk of prostate cancer, according to a new study in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute. The study of almost 48,000 men found that those who drank more than six cups of coffee a day reduced their risk of fatal prostate cancer by 60%. Caffeine was not the crucial component of this elixir: men who drank decaffeinated coffee had similar risk reductions as those who drank regular.
