While saving hundreds of dollars on a grocery trip seems to be an amazing feat (it surely takes a Herculean effort in organization and mathamatical skills), it is not without issues. Most of the problems that naysayers have with extreme couponing, come from the bad practices of the couponers themselves. Here are 5 habits of Extreme Couponers, that you should not learn:
Stealing coupons
Do not pay for one paper in a box, and then remove all the inserts from the entire stack of papers. You would be stealing, and this is both morally and legally wrong.
Troll for papers that have not been brought in
Do not drive around, looking for some ususpecting late sleeper, and take their paper. Again, this is stealing.
Clearing store shelves
Do not clear a shelf because you have a stack of coupons for an item. If you are being paid to buy an item, then you are taking advantage of a loophole that will soon be closing. It is difficult to understand how this even seems right.
Do not hoard
If you kids are bunking with the toilet paper, you are hoarding. Please, this is neither necessary or safe. Coupons cycle every 6 weeks, so buy what you need for 6 - 8 weeks, or until they come up again on sale.
Do not make it a full time job
Really, if you take 60 hours a week just to prepare to go shopping, you have a problem. Get help.

I would add to this: Don't throw your healthy eating habits out of the window just because of the coupon combination you discovered.
