5 Easy Italian Salads

Italians are experts at making easy and simple salads.  They use the best fresh ingredients and mix them with a drizzle of fruity olive oil and a splash of lemon juice.  Here are five of my favorites.

Caprese Salad
Slices of fresh tomato, mozzarella, and basil are drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for the perfect simple salad.

Grilled Vegetable Panzanella
This salad mixes chunks of bread with grilled garden vegetables in a bright citrus dressing.

Grilled Romaine Lettuce with Pecorino  and Fava Beans
Grilled romaine may seem strange but the heat really changes the texture and flavor of the lettuce.

An easy salad that requires few ingredients and minimal effort.
