Obama Visits Los Angeles Restaurants

September 2, 2011

Later this month President Barack Obama is scheduled to visit Los Angeles as part of a three-day West Coast tour. His trip will begin in Seattle on Sept. 25 with stops in San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles. Obama will finish his trip in Denver on Sept. 27.

During his stay in Los Angeles, according to The Huffington Post and The Hollywood Reporter, the president is scheduled to participate in two events to take place at the House of Blues on Sunset and Fig and Olive restaurant at the Melrose Place location.

The first of the two events (at House of Blues) is an entertainment industry fundraiser where a $250 ticket will allow you to be in the same room as President Obama, while $10,000 is the price to take a photo with him.

Later that evening, President Obama will heading down the street to the more chic Fig & Olive where he will be networking with the "who's who" of Hollywood. Tickets cost $35,000 per couple and if you are riding solo you'll pay a mere $17,900. The highlight of this event will be a chance to participate in a Q&A with the president.
