Actor Hugh Jackman has been championing several charitable causes as of late -- my colleague Rosemina wrote about his efforts to fight famine in East Africa last month -- and his latest venture is a charity coffee brand. Jackman partnered with Laughing Man Worldwide, a beverage brand that only uses ingredients from farmers in poverty-affected areas like Guatemala and Indonesia, for his upcoming coffee brand. All proceeds will go to charity.
"I met a man who changed the way I look at the world," said Jackman. "As [coffee farmer] Dukale and I planted coffee trees together, I began to see the potential for one man's hard work to transform an entire community... I was so inspired by what I learned from him and his community, I made Dukale a promise to do my bit to help."
The packaging for Laughing Man Coffee, which was designed by Sam O'Donahue, Pierre Jeand'heur and Felix de Voss, appears above, and there's also a video of Hugh Jackman discussing the venture below. Do you plan on supporting Jackman's charity coffee brand?
