Famed Atlanta rapper Ludacris will close his downtown Atlanta restaurant, Straits Atlanta, and open a new restaurant, Chicken & Beer, in the city's airport. Ludacris will open the new restaurant in Concourse D of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. He confirmed the news in a tweet.
The restaurant takes its name from the rapper's number one 2003 album, Chicken-N-Beer. Ludacris opened Straits four years ago with partner Chris Yeo. There is no word on an opening date for the airport restaurant.
Ludacris plans to serve comfort food and local beers at the establishment.
