What's For Dinner: Bourbon Glazed Pork Chops

May 30, 2012
Bourbon glazed pork chops are a delicious dinner option. These juicy pork chops (bone-in if you can get it) are soaked in a homemade Bourbon marinade with Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and a bit of brown sugar.  On the grill, the marinade caramelizes and creates a crisp crust that is simply dynamite.  Serve these tasty Bourbon glazed pork chops with classic potato salad and some grilled summer veggies.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
2 packets of soy sauce
2 tablespoons bourbon
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 or 6 thick cut pork chops

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together and marinate pork chops for 1 hour in refrigerator.

Remove and let come to room temperature before grilling. Reserve marinade. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, before serving.

Grill chops for about 12 minutes on each side. Use a meat thermometer if you are not sure. It should be at 160. Place pork chops on a platter and cover with foil for a few minutes before serving.
