ABC Premieres New Cooking Competition 'Time Machine Chefs'

ABC premiered a new reality cooking competition on Thursday called Time Machine Chefs. Featuring Chris Cosentino, Ilan Hall, Jill Davie and Art Smith, the show has the famed chefs traveling the world to cook meals fit for ancient societies. In the premiere episode, they created meals for Tudor England and Ming Dynasty. 

"You had to cook among the elements," Smith said. "You had to figure out how to cook a bird in a hearth, and put it on a rotisserie. In other cooking shows, you just throw the duck breast in the pan!"

Time Machine Chefs airs on Thursdays at 9pm EST.
