Robert Downey Jr. is set to appear in the upcoming film, Chef. Jon Favreau will star, direct and write the film, which centers around an emotional chef in LA who loses his job and finds his passion for food again by starting a food truck.
Favreau and Downy have worked together on all three Iron Man movies. There is currently no indication on what role Downey will play, but he is likely to take on a lead character. Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo and Bobby Cannacale have also signed-on for the movie.
Filming for Chef will begin in July.
