Easy Ham, Cheese, and Roasted Red Pepper Panini

This ham, cheese, and roasted red pepper panini is an easy meal that you can enjoy for anytime of the day.  Essentially, a panini is a pressed sandwich that can be made with anything you have on hand.  For example, if you don't have ham, you can substitute for turkey, roast beef, or pastrami just to name a few.  This ham, cheese, and roasted red pepper will be your new go-to meal when you are in a hurry.

Ham, Cheese and Roasted Red Pepper Panini

Ingredients:

4 slices bread
4 slices ham
4 slices cheese
1/2 cup roasted red pepper strips, drained
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves or fresh baby spinach leaves
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:

Evenly disperse cheese, ham, the red pepper strips, and basil or baby spinach between the two sandwiches. Spread the outside of sandwiches with the softened butter.

Grill sandwiches on a panini grill, in a saute pan or on a griddle until toasted and crisp.
