How to Make Your Own Cookie Butter

August 12, 2013

Cookie butter, also known as Biscoff spread, is an addicting substance that is becoming as popular as Nutella or peanut butter (so much so that grocery stores can hardly keep it on the shelves).  If you get a craving for this ginger flavored spread, Averie Cooks has a recipe that will delight and satisfy you.  While not 100 percent made from cookies, the addition of honey roasted peanuts adds a nutty flavor to the butter.  You can use cookie butter as you would any other spread, in desserts, on sandwiches, or straight from the spoon.  For full recipe instructions, click here.
