Apple and peanut butter sandwiches are a quick and easy snack you can make with your kids. Fresh slices of autumn apples are smothered in peanut butter and topped with raisins, granola and chocolate chips. You can experiment with this recipe by using different nut butters and dried fruit.
2 modest apples, cored and cut crosswise into 1/2-inch thick rounds
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
3 tablespoons peanut or almond butter
2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
