Copycat Recipe: Benihana Tempura Bananas

This copycat recipe for banana tempura is super quick and easy, and it tastes just like your favorite Japanese restaurant’s tempura banana split. Serve with green tea ice cream, a drizzling of chocolate sauce and dollops of whipped cream.

Benihana Tempura Bananas

2 firm bananas (the peel can even be a bit green)
2/3 cup flour
1/3 cup cornstarch
oil for frying, such as canola
