Glorious Gluten Free Fruit Crisps

August 9, 2011

The cobbler's simple, country cousin, crisps are a tasty way to use fresh, seasonal fruit that will showcase their natural sweetness and flavor. Ready in a flash, a crisp is essentially fruit filling baked with a "crispy" topping, usually made from (gluten free!) oats or, sometimes, coconut flakes - yum! Here are my 5 favorite picks for gluten free fruit crisps that everyone can enjoy.

Apricot Plum Crisp with Maple Yogurt
And a touch of cinnamon makes this a truly comforting dessert.

Classic Apple Crisp
Perfect anytime, anywhere with vanilla ice cream and a smile.

Raspberry Pear Crisp
Perfect over vanilla ice cream!

Black & Blue Crisp with Dark Chocolate
Add a coconut-macadamia topping and you have a decadent (but healthy!) summer dessert.

GFCF Apple Maple Crisp
Dairy free and delicious with an extra crunchy topping.

Thanks for featuring my Raspberry Pear Crisp. I made it with apples as well and it turned out really good.
