Kim Kardashian's Wedding Reception Catered by Wolfgang Puck

August 21, 2011

Kim Kardashian tied the knot with basketball player Kris Humphries yesterday in a lavish ceremony. At the luxurious reception that followed, her 440 guests were treated to the culinary stylings of Wolfgang Puck.

The menu included a mozzarella, basil and tomato salad, followed by a choice of angolotti and truffles or roast chicken with potato puree, sprouts and truffles.

Oh, and let's not forget about the chocolate and vanilla swirl cake that cost Kardashian a pretty penny!

I'm so happy for her. This family never surprises me when they spend more in one day than I make in a year. And seriously, why spend so much on a wedding that'll be over before the year?

I am sure that a network paid for it since it will be on reality TV for us all to enjoy!

I agree, Nomadicmomma! People magazine is paying her $300,000 for her wedding photos, and  the entire thing is going to be aired on E! in a two-part special... something tells me Kim and Kris might actually be making money from their wedding!

How could Wolfgang be live on HSN in Florida and at Kim's wedding too???

The HSN is taped the day before the segment is shown but all scripts are written for the day the segment airs. There are no "live" shows - just in case the caller says something inappropriate.

Kim Kardashian had a $20 million dollar contract with sponsors (the Kardashian empire paid NOTHING for this joke of an event - the marriage won't last 6 months).

This selfish, spoiled, ungrateful, shallow, untalented sex tape making whore should have donated 20 million to charity (like SOS or the African Famine Relief fund) and had a low keyed event. But no. She had to show off her lack of taste. I'm suprised she isn't taping the sex in her hotel room (or is she??).
