3 Tasty Tagine Recipes

October 4, 2011

Tagine refers to both a dish and cookware.  The North African dish is a slow cooked stew that has some kind of protein, vegetables, and often dried fruit.  The stew is almost always served with fluffy couscous.  A tagine is also an earthenware pot with a funneled lid that allows the cook to lift the lid to add ingredients without burning themselves.  If you do not pocess this special pot, no worries, you can make any of these three tasty recipes in a deep skillet.
