The Chewy Chocolate Cookie

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups soft butter

2 cups sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

3/4 cup cocoa

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup nuts

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar in bowl. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Mix in. Stir in nuts. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not overbake. Cookies will be soft. Will puff up and then flatten.
