To the kind person or machine who, no doubt with good intentions, incorrectly edited my name, it ought to appear this way:
M-J de Mesterton--no capitalization of "de", please! It means "of", and prepositions are never capitalized unless they begin a sentence. Besides, why try to change an ancient name at this late date?
