I've come to Foodista thru the world of Twitter, and what a cool place this is! I'm constantly in search of new and exciting recipes and different ways of cooking up the good old standbys. One of the many labels I wear in association with my being is "foodie", and as of about 4 years ago I've added to that list "caregiver". My momma has had a series of strokes and recently has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Part of my love for all things food comes from her, she used to be a wonderful cook. Today I cook all her meals for her and I tease her that she's my quality control when I whip up something new!
