Patricia Moed

P.A. Moed has a restless and hungry spirit and loves writing about food and travel.  Through reading, cooking, and travel, she has explored the food, language, customs, and history of other cultures, most notably Italy, the U.K., the Netherlands, and France. Her short stories, poems, a recipe, and essays have appeared in national newspapers, magazines, and online websites, such as The Christian Science Monitor, Catholic Online Travel, The Washington Post Travel Online, www. travelblogs.com , and Cooking Light Magazine .  She is also the author of a novel Just One Life, set in Italy and Boston in the 1930's.  A recipient of writing fellowships at The Vermont Studio Center and Ragdale, she won the grand prize in 2006 Travel Writing Contest sponsored by Conde Nast and Gather.com.
