Refrigerator Cake

Ingredients

1 package lime jello
1 package instant lemon pudding
1 package Whipped Topping
1 1/2 cups milk

Preparation

Dissolve lime Jello in 3/4 cup of boiling water, then add 1 cup cold water. Set aside to cool.

Mix and bake lemon cake mix in a 13 x 9 inch pan according to directions say on box. Let cake cool 20 minutes, then poke holes in cake with fork and drizzle Jello over it.

Frosting: Mix together lemon pudding, whipped topping and milk; beat until thick. Keep cake in refrigerator.

Using boxed cake mix makes this dessert a great time saver. Substitute different flavors of jello, mix and pudding to completely change the taste: try chocolate mix with raspberry jello and chocolate pudding in the frosting.
