Rev. Al Sharpton Diet Tricks

December 5, 2011

Rev. Al Sharpton recently shared the diet and fitness regimen he used to shed over 125 pounds over six years with The Wall Street Journal. In terms of his diet, Rev. Sharpton eats fish twice a week at most and avoids most starches and all fried foods -- a big change from the diet he said once included fried chicken three times a day.

Rev. Sharpton uses a diet trick that might be helpful for all the upcoming holiday parties this season: he doesn't eat at work events. "I don't even do salad," he said. "People are always telling me it's OK to cheat just once, but I just don't." He also rarely eats at night; eggs or a small salad are all he might eat if he's at home.
