For the fourth time in ten years, British chef Jamie Oliver takes the number spot on the UK Christmas book charts with his latest cooking title. Jamie's Great Britain sold nearly 60,000 books in the week leading up to December 20. Last year, he held the top spot with Jamie's Thirty-Minute Meals. Back in 2001, it was Happy Days With The Naked Chef and in 2005 it was Jamie's Italy.
It's a remarkable achievement. "Being No 1 two years on the run is an incredible achievement," said Jon Howells of Waterstone's. "Jamie has had a lot of competition this year, but ultimately he's a tough act to beat."
