Camping season has set in and what food is more iconic than the s'more. For those of us who can't pack up and head to the wilderness, this s'more pie will make us feel like we are roasting marshmallows around the campfire. This pie has a graham cracker crust that is filled with luxurious chocolate ganache and topped with homemade marshmallow topping. To get a golden topping, place the pie under the broiler or use a blow torch. This campfire classic turned pie is sure to please any outdoorsy eater.
Graham cracker crust:
7 oz. bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 large egg, at room temperature for 30 mins
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
½ cup cold water
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup light corn syrup
½ teaspoon vanilla
Vegetable oil, for greasing
