The Classic Cuban Sandwich

August 21, 2012

Heat up the grill and make this delicious Cuban sandwich.  Slices of roasted pork loin and ham are nestled in a soft roll with Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard.  The origins of the Cuban sandwich are debatable but everyone agrees that it makes for one tasty lunch; every cafeteria has a version on the menu.  Ideally, you'll want to use the traditional Cuban roll, or pan de agua,  but any crusty loaf will do just fine.  The Cuban sandwich is one cravable dish!
