I have always loved to cook, but due to some food additive allergies and a desire to go organic, I now cook almost all of our food from scratch. I am mostly self-taught; I read cookbooks for fun, spend countless hours researching techniques and recipes, and love to fly by the seat of my pants in the kitchen. I started posting what I was cooking on facebook, and people began to ask what I was up to when I didn't post, and someone suggested a website or a blog. I truly enjoy writing about the food that I have been cooking.
