What do you want to flavor it with? My mom made candied lemon peel for the holidays. I can only eat so much, so I put it in a jar that had a tight seal, covered it with vodka and shake it once a day. I store it in a cool dry place. In three weeks it should be a passable limoncello. My wife and I had a bumper crop of blood oranges, so we peeled a dozen, chopped them up, put them in a quart jar with two halved yuzu and covered all the fruit with vodka. In three weeks, blood orange vodka. Most fruit will infuse grain alcohol, then you just have to sweeten to taste if you want a liqueur, or don't sweeten if you want a mixer. Creme de Menthe is easy to make the same way, mint in a jar, covered with vodka and strained and sweetened when the mint taste is where you want. Does this help?
