Smothered Steak On Baked Potatoes

In large pan add cut up bite size pieces of steak, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cook until meat is slightly brown. Add chopped onion and chopped green pepper. Cook until onion is slightly clear. Add jar of gravy and can of mushrooms. Add 2 jars of water from gravy jar, stir and mix well. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until mixture has boiled down and is thick. Slice pre-baked potatoes and cover with steak gravy. Take cheese and cover top, put under broiler until melted. Serve.
