Chocolate - Oat Cake

Ingredients

1 cup quick oats
1 1/4 cups sifted plain flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup canned milk
6 tablespoons soft butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
3/4 cup coconut

Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients together and let stand 15 minutes. Then add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in 9 x 13 inch glass dish.

For frosting mix all together and spread on cake as soon as baked. Turn oven on broil and brown.
