Italian Christmas Cream

Ingredients

2 mediums -sized firm bananas peeled and sliced
1 cup sliced seedless green grapes
2 cups sour cream (16 oz)
1 cup coarsely chopped Maraschino cherries
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons grated fresh lemon peel

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mix well. Pour into a 2-quart shallow casserole dish or mold, lightly coated with a non-stick vegetable spray. Freeze overnight. Let stand at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before serving. You can unmold it onto a serving plate if desired.
