Hamburger Stroganoff

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef browned
or ground turkey or any meat
Chopped onion
Chopped garlic
Chopped mushrooms
canned mushrooms drained (or fresh)
fresh ground pepper
nonfat sour cream

Preparation

Drain well blotting any extra fat.

Saute the onion, garlic, and mushrooms.

Add one cup fat free beef broth to the cooked meat mixture (could use a good red wine). Stir in one can of Healthy Request or other low fat/ff cream of mushroom soup. Add canned mushrooms (drained) or fresh cooked ones. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to simmer. Add fresh ground pepper, and a small amount of dill weed.

Cook noodles. When almost finished add a couple big spoonfuls of ff sour cream to the meat/soup mixture. Heat through. Add more pepper and dill according to your taste.

Drain the noodles and serve the meat mixture over the hot noodles.
