Greek Chicken

Ingredients

8 pieces chicken wings
8 pieces chicken legs
1 1/2 cups water
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon whole oregano
2 cloves minced garlic

Preparation

Arrange chicken in a large baking dish with 1 pat of butter for each piece of chicken. Mix lemon juice, olive oil and water together with oregano, minced garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Pour over chicken. Bake chicken in oven at 450 degrees until brown, turning occasionally. Baste several times. Cover with tin foil and reduce heat to 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.

Gravy for Yellow Rice: Drippings from chicken (much as needed), 1 can cream of mushroom and 1/2 can of water. Heat and serve over rice.
