Melt butter in saute pan over medium heat

Add onions and sweat without browning until soft and translucent

Transfer to a medium-sized bowl and stir in flour, cream and eggs. Gently fold in cheese

Season with salt and pepper

Pour in a pre-baked pie shell and bake in a 350 pre-heated oven until golden brown and set (about 45-60 minutes)
