Easy Beef and Bean Chili

Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef
1 small can tomato paste
1 small can tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 medium minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 pinch pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin

Preparation

Combine and fry beef, onion and celery lightly.

Place in a large, heavy pot.

Add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for 2-4 hours.

I add a jar of roasted garlic/lime salsa to my chili and it is delicious.

If I'm doing beans in my chili, I don't add them until I absolutely have to. They're already cooked, so you really only gotta warm 'em up (unless you like mushy beans in your chili).

Serve over rice or top with cheese and chopped onion.
