5 Chinese Favorites

Americans love Chinese food but it rarely enters our own kitchens.  Cooking Chinese food at home has never been easier with the access to traditional ingredients in local supermarkets.  Traditional cooking equipment is widely available and relatively inexpensive.  To start cooking Chinese food at home, start with these American favorites.

Kung Pao Chicken
A spicy combination of chili, chicken and peanuts.

Sweet and Sour Pork
You'll want lots of rice to savor the sauce.

Beef and Broccoli
If you don't like broccoli, pair the beef with another favorite veggie.

Ginger Shrimp
A quick weeknight meal.

Chinese Fried Rice
