Sweet And Sour Pork, Chicken Or Tofu
Ingredients
1 cup water
1 (1 lb. 4 ½ oz.) can pineapple chunks
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 med. green pepper, cut in strips
1 med. onion, sliced thin

Meanwhile, drain juice from pineapple and combine with brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until thick. Add to meat mixture along with pineapple chunks, green pepper and onion. Mix and heat 2 or 3 minutes. Serve over rice and chow mein noodles.
